This report focuses on the top four banks in Australia and evaluates their position online, with particular focus on whether they are able to capture the substantial search demand for their products and services.
The four major banks in Australia (National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ and Westpac in order of size) have all invested hugely in their websites and online facilities. After all, with 42% of Australians preferring online banking to any other method it’s a service that is now critical to ensuring their customers are satisfied with their overall banking experience.
Interestingly though, the online market share of the major banks in Australia does not reflect their actual market share. This report details who is the leader, and why.
